What is a Pre-Removal Risk Assessment (PRRA)
Eligibility Criteria for Applying PRRA
- Names of sponsors and recipients of their contributions
- Surname and given name
- Applicant’s date of birth
- Country of birth
- Residential Addresses
- Sponsor’s Current Status in Canada
- Family size
- Sponsor’s income during the last three years.
- Details about the person who will receive the sponsorship.
Who Cannot Apply for PRRA?
You must complete an interest form for sponsorship, providing basic details such as the applicant and sponsor’s name, address, date of birth, etc. If your data is complete, you will get a confirmation number.
The government accepts only a limited number of applications for sponsorship. If your application is accepted, you will receive an invitation to sponsor your parents and grandparents.
After receiving the invitation, you have sixty days to submit a complete application.
